2. Collection and storage of your personal data with regard to the purpose and type of use
a) Visiting the Website
When you visit our website, the Internet browser on your device (PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet, etc.) automatically sends information to the server where our website is hosted. The following access information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
- IP address your computer,
- date and time of access,
- name/URL of the website accessed,
- referrer URL (previously visited website from which access was made),
- amount of data transferred,
- browser used including version and operating system of your computer and the name of the access provider.
This information is temporarily stored by us or our web host in the server log file. Access information is collected and stored for the following purposes:
- to enable a smooth connection setup,
- to inhance a sensible and convenient usability of our website,
- to maintain system security and stability and
- for other administrative purposes.
Our data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests based on the purposes listed in Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f. GDPR (legal basis). Under no circumstances will the data collected be used to draw conclusions about you personally.
In addition to the aforementioned data processing, we use cookies and an analysis service when you visit our website. This is explained in detail in Sections 4 and 5 of this Privacy Policy.
In addition, you can generally use our website without having to provide any further personal information. Our website is designed to provide you with information about our company, where we are located, and how to contact us.
b) How to contact us
There are several ways to contact us on our website.
If you contact us (e.g. by email, telephone or fax), your voluntary information will be processed for the purpose of handling your contact request in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR.
We delete the requests or the data obtained from them as soon as they are no longer required – subject to statutory archiving and retention obligations. We regularly review the necessity.
Contact Form
If you contact us via our contact form, your data will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up questions. We will never share this information without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form will therefore only be processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 paragraph. 1 letter a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message to us by e-mail is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation shall remain unaffected by the revocation.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, until you revoke your consent to store it, or until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
3. Co-operation with third parties within the framework of this online service
If it is necessary to involve third parties in the processing of data on the basis of a so-called “order processing agreement”, this will be done in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law (e.g. according to Art. 6 paragraph. 1 sentence 1 letter b GDPR, if this is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you), if you have expressly consented (Art. 6 paragraph. 1 sentence 1 letter a GDPR), a legal obligation requires this (Art. 6 paragraph. 1 sentence 1 letter c GDPR) or on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 paragraph. 1 letter f GDPR).
The same applies if individual data is processed in the USA, as described in more detail in Section 5. The USA is a third country outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, so that in these cases processing only takes place due to the existence of the special requirements of Art. 44 ff. GDPR by the “Privacy Shield”.

Google AdWords
This website uses Google AdWords, an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow St., Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
When you click on a Google ad, a cookie – a small text file – is placed on your computer by your web browser. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this site and the cookie has not yet expired, Google will know that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected.
Each Google AdWords advertiser receives a different cookie. Advertisers cannot track cookies through the AdWords websites. The information obtained through the cookie is used to generate statistics for advertisers who have opted in to tracking. Advertisers will learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a page with a tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not want to participate in this tracking, you can opt out of this use by simply disabling the Google tracking cookie in your Internet browser’s preferences. You will then not be included in the tracking statistics.
Cookies are used on the basis of Art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f GDPR. The website operator may legitimately analyze user behavior in order to optimize its website and advertising.
More information about Google AdWords tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.en/policies/privacy/.
